Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menganalisis tingkat penerimaan anak-anak kelas 4 SD GMIM 51 Paniki Atas terhadap susu kotak. Susu kotak adalah susu pasteurisasi terdapat banyak rasa seperti coklat, strawberi, vanilla. Bahan yang digunakan adalah susu kotak rasa strawberi dan coklat. Pengabdian dan pelatihan dilakukan dengan memberi penyuluhan   tentang susu pasteurisasi dan pelatihan melihat waktu kadaluarsa dikemasan susu kotak, serta pengambilan data dengan metode survey.  Peserta adalah 20 anak-anak kelas 4 SD GMIM 51 Paniki Baru. Hasilnya terlihat anak-anak   kelas 4 SD yang   berumur 9-10 tahun   mengikuti penyuluhan/pelatihan dengan aktif dan mengerti tentang waktu kadaluarsa sebanyak 17 anak meningkat 60% dan menyukai susu kotak rasa coklat (15 anak) dibanding rasa strawberi (5 anak). Kesimpulan adalah PKM dilakukan sebanyak 85% memahami waktu kadaluarsa serta menyukai susu kotak rasa coklat 90% anak-anak kelas 4 SD GMIM 31 Paniki Atas.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to analyze the level of acceptance of 4th grade children of GMIM 51 Paniki Atas Elementary School towards boxed milk. Boxed milk is pasteurized milk with many flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, vanilla. The materials used were strawberry and chocolate flavored milk boxes. Services and training were carried out by providing counseling on pasteurized milk and training to see the expiration time on boxed milk packaging, as well as data collection using the survey method.  The participants were 20 4th grade children of GMIM 51 Paniki Baru Elementary School. The results showed that 4th grade elementary school children aged 9-10 years actively participated in counseling / training and understood the expiration time as many as 17 children, an increase of 60% and liked chocolate flavored milk boxes (15 children) compared to strawberry flavor (5 children). The conclusion was that the PKM was carried out as much as 85% understood the expiration time and liked the chocolate flavored milk box 90% of the 4th grade children of GMIM 31 Paniki Atas Elementary School.
