PKM Konservasi Musuh Alami dengan Refugia pada Tanaman Hortikultura di Kelompok Tani Brassica Kelurahan Kakaskasen I Kota Tomohon

Abstrak
Kota Tomohon merupakan sentra produksi tanaman hortikultura yang perlu mendapat perhatian dalam rangka meningkatkan produksi secara kualitas dan kuantitas. Kelompok tani Brassica di Kelurahan Kakaskasen I mengemukakan masalah mereka tentang mahalnya pestisida dan pupuk sintetik, serta semakin mereka memahami tentang dampak negatif dari bahan-bahan kimia. Perlu mencari alternatif pengendalian hama yang murah, mudah dan ramah lingkungan, seperti pemanfaatan refugia. Untuk itu telah dilakukan pelatihan dan pendampingan tentang manfaat refugia, jenis-jenis refugia, pemilihan jenis refugia dan metode penanaman refugia di sekitar pertanaman hortikultura. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan memberikan materi dan percontohan serta evaluasi di lapangan. Hasil PKM ini mendapatkan respon baik dari Kelompok Tani Brassica dengan kehadiran 100 persen dan aktif memberikan pertanyaan dan telah dijawab oleh Tim PKM dengan baik dan jelas. Ditemukan jenis-jenis refugia yang ada di sekitar lokasi kegiatan yaitu sawi hijau, kemangi dan gulma legetan. Penanaman refugia, yaitu bunga zinnia, melati jepang, marigold dan sawi hijau. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa refugia yang ditanam telah tumbuh dengan baik, terdapat serangga pada bunga refugia yaitu parasitoid, predator dan polinator, populasi hama P. xylostella rendah, pendapatan petani meningkat dan suasana kebun menjadi indah.

Abstract
Tomohon City is a horticultural crop production center that needs attention in order to increase production in quality and quantity. The Brassica farmer group in Kakaskasen I Village raised their problem about the high cost of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, and the more they understood about the negative impact of chemicals. It is necessary to find alternatives to pest control that are cheap, easy and environmentally friendly, such as the use of refugia. For this reason, training and assistance have been carried out on the benefits of refugia, types of refugia, selection of types of refugia and methods of planting refugia around horticultural plantations. This activity was carried out by providing materials and pilots as well as evaluations in the field. The results of this PKM received a good response from the Brassica Farmers Group with 100 percent presence and actively provided questions and have been answered by the PKM Team well and clearly. Types of refugia were found around the activity location, namely mustard greens, basil and legetan weeds. Planting refugia, namely zinnia flowers, Japanese jasmine, marigolds and mustard greens. The evaluation showed that the planted refugia had grown well, there were insects on the refugia flowers, namely parasitoids, predators and pollinators, the population of P. xylostella pests was low, farmers' income increased and the atmosphere of the garden became beautiful.
