PERAN PIMPINAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PELAYANAN DI PERPUSTAKAAN FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS SAM RATULANGI MANADO
Abstract
Ladership role in improving the quality of library services in university engineering faculty Sam Ratulangi. The role of leadership is crucial to a library, The low quality of service in the library, certainly caused by many factors. Fator factors include the low role of leadership, employee performance, interpersonal communication, commitment to employees, the duties and others. Research Objectives How to determine the role of leadership in improving the quality of services at the Library of the Faculty of Engineering UNSRAT Manado. Method used is descriptive method, analyzed in the form of a frequency distribution table. results of the study leaders have not been performing their duties and responsibilities well. Library serv engineering faculty at the University of Sam Ratulangi not satisfactory. Conclusion of this study is Chairman of the Faculty of Engineering, University Libraries Sam Ratulangi lesser role in improving the quality of service in the Library of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sam Ratulangi. Suggestion to the Leadership Library of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sam Ratulangi as follows: 1. It is expected to play a full part in improving the quality of services at the Library of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Sam Ratulangi, 2. Provide encouragement or morale of the staff or employees of the Library, 3. Noting Library facilities, the main library service facilities.

Abstrak
Peran Pimpinan sangatlah penting untuk sebuah perpustakaan. Rendahnya kualitas pelayanan di perpustakaan tersebut, tentu saja disebabkan oleh banyak faktor, antara lain masih rendahnya peran pimpinan, kinerja karyawan, komunikasi interpersonal, komitmen karyawan, terhadap tugas dan lain-lain. Tujuan Penelitian untuk mengetahui Bagaimana Peran Pimpinan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik UNSRAT Manado. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, kemudian dianalisis dalam bentuk tabel distribusi frekuensi. Hasil penelitian pimpinan belum menjalankan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya dengan baik. Pelayanan di Perpustakaan fakultas teknik Universitas Sam Ratulangi belum memuaskan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah Pimpinan Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sam Ratulangi kurang berperan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sam Ratulangi. Saran kepada Pimpinan Perpustakaan Fatek Unsrat sebagai berikut: 1. Diharapkan agar berperan penuh dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan di Perpustakaan Fakultas Teknik Universitas Sam Ratulangi, 2. Memberikan dorongan atau semangat kerja terhadap staf atau pegawai Perpustakaan, 3. Memperhatikan fasilitas Perpustakaan, utamanya fasilitas pelayanan Perpustakaan.
