PROFIL GLAUKOMA SEKUNDER AKIBAT KATARAK SENILIS PRE OPERASI DI RSUP. PROF. DR. R. D. KANDOU MANADO PERIODE JANUARI 2011 – DESEMBER 2011

Abstract

Abstract: Glaucoma is a condition where a person's eye pressure to higher or not normal thus resulting in damage to the optic nerve and lead to disturbances in part or whole field of vision or blindness. Senile cataract is cataract found in older people of about 40 years or older. The process of lens opacity usually starts in one eye followed by the eye next to it. To get a picture ​​the frequency of secondary glaucoma caused by senile cataract in the RSUP Prof.. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Perform data collection of patient status secondary glaucoma caused by senile cataract who come for treatment at the eye clinic and inpatient at RSUP. Prof. R. D. Kandou Manado.Conclusion: Be found 24 patients with a diagnosis secondary glaucoma caused by senile cataract pre operations. From the 24 patients who came in RSUP. Prof. R. D. Kandou Manado  most female than male average the age group over 40 years.

Abstrak : Glaukoma adalah suatu keadaaan di mana tekanan mata seseorang demikian tinggi atau tidak normal sehingga mengakibatkan kerusakan saraf optik dan mengakibatkan gangguan pada sebagian atau seluruh lapang pandang atau buta. Katarak senilis adalah katarak yang ditemukan pada orang berusia lanjut yaitu sekitar 40 tahun keatas. Proses kekaburan lensa mata biasanya dimulai pada mata yang satu kemudian diikuti mata sebelahnya. Untuk mendapatkan gambaran frekuensi Glaukoma Sekunder akibat Katarak Senilis di RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado Dilakukan pengumpulan data dari status pasien Glaukoma Sekunder akibat Katarak Senilis yang datang berobat di poliklinik mata dan rawat inap RSUP. Prof. R. D. Kandou Manado. Simpulan: Terdapat 24 penderita dengan diagnosa Glaukoma Sekunder akibat Katarak senilis pasca Pre Operasi. Dari 24 pasien yang datang di RSUP . Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou paling banyak perempuan daripada laki-laki, rata-rata kelompok umur diatas 40 tahun.
