                                                     ABSTRACT

     This research is entitled “Dampak Peer Pressure dalam Film #RealityHigh”. It is written to fulfill the requirement of accomplishing bachelor degree in English Department Faculty of Humanities Sam Ratulangi University. The focus of this research is about what are the effects of peer pressure on the main character in the film #RealityHigh. This research includes the concept of psychology with the term named peer pressure, character analysis. The writer used two theories, such as the theory of behavior by Albert Bandura in his book “social learning theory” (1977) and the theory of character analysis written by Edgar V. Robert in his book “writing themes about literature” (1964) to identify and analyze the data. The result of this research shows that there are three effects of peer pressure that occurred in this film, such as changes in behavior, loss of identity, changes in appearance. All those phenomena are reflected by the female lead in the film #RealityHigh.
