ABSTRACT
This research entitled “An Analysis of Teachers’ Strategies in Teaching Listening Comprehension via Online Learning”. The aims of this research are to identify and describe teachers’ problems in teaching listening comprehension via online learning. It is then to analyze and classify the strategies used by teachers in teaching listening comprehension via online learning. The method used in this research is qualitative method with class observation and interview as the instruments of data collection. The results of this research showed there are six teachers’ problems in teaching listening comprehension via online learning, namely duration of lesson, internet network, seriousness of students, differences between Binsus-Reguler classes, material, and media. Meanwhile, the strategies used by teachers in teaching listening skills through online learning are bottom-up and topdown strategies. _______________________________
