   KONVIVIAL DALAM FILM A WALK TO REMEMBER OLEH ADAM SHANKMAN

                                                    ABSTRACT

     This research entitled “Konvivial dalam Film A Walk to Remember Oleh Adam Shankman: Suatu Analisis Pragmatik”. The problems of this research namely: what are the kinds of convivial that found in the film A Walk to Remember? how are the situation of the kinds of convivial is found in the film A Wakl to Remember?. The objective of this research is to identify and classify the kinds of convivial in the film A Walk to Remember and to analyze the situation of convivial in the film A Walk to Remember. This research used descriptive method. The data of convivial kinds collected from the sentence in the conversation from the caracter in the film and analyzed according to Leech theory (1983). The result of this research shows that there are five kinds of convivial that found in the film A Walk to Remember, those are: offering, inviting, greeting, congratulating.
