Hubungan Antara Disiplin Kerja Dan Karakteristik Individu Dengan Produktivitas Kerja Perawat Di Puskesmas Kota Tomohon
Abstract
Produktivitas suatu organisasi dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor antara lain disiplin dan karakteristik individu. Disiplin sangat penting untuk pertumbuhan organisasi, digunakan terutama untuk memotivasi pegawai agar dapat mendisiplinkan diri dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan baik secara perorangan maupun kelompok. Disiplin bermanfaat mendidik pegawai untuk mematuhi dan menyenangi peraturan, prosedur, maupun kebijakan yang ada, sehingga dapat menghasilkan kinerja yang baik. Selain disiplin, produktivitas kerja seseorang juga ditentukan oleh kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dimiliki. Hal ini ditentukan oleh beberapa faktor seperti umur, tingkat pendidikan, pengalaman kerja, pendidikan nonformal yang pernah diikuti, kedisiplinan kerja, semangat dan kemauan kerja dan pembinaan rutin yang dilakukan oleh atasan suatu organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara disiplin kerja dan karakteristik individu dengan produktivitas kerja perawat di Puskesmas Kota Tomohon. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study yang dilakukan di Puskesmas Kota Tomohon sebanyak lima Puskesmas, yaitu Puskesmas Kakaskasen, Matani, Rurukan, Tara-Tara dan Pangolombian dengan 117 responden. Variabel penelitian ini terdiri dari independent variable (variabel bebas), yaitu disiplin kerja, umur, tingkat pendidikan, lama kerja, status perkawinan, dan dependent variable (variabel terikat) yaitu produktivitas kerja perawat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara disiplin kerja dan tingkat pendidikan dengan produktivitas kerja perawat.

Abstract
Productivity of an organization in influenced by many factors, among them, discipline and characteristics of an individual. Discipline is highly important for organizational growth, mainly used to motivate employees to discipline themselves in doing their jobs both individually and in group. Discipline is useful when it comes to train employees to obey and appreciate existing regulations, procedures or policies in achieving good performance at work. Other than discipline, one’s work productivity is also determined by the quality of human resources of the person in question. This is determined by factors such as age, level of education, work experiences, any nonformal education ever attended, and the routine training held by leaders of the organization. This research is intended to reveal the correlation of work discipline and individual characteristics to the work productivity of nurses in public health centers in Tomohon city. This is an observational analytic research using cross sectional study design by which was conducted in five public health centers in Tomohon city namely Puskesmas Kakaskasen, Matani, Rurukan, Tara-Tara and Pangolombian with 117 respondents. The variables in this research are independent variable which consists of work discipline, age, level of education, work period, marital status, and dependent variable, which is the work productivity of the nurses. Results of this study shows that there is a significant correlation between work discipline, level of education and nurses' work productivity. It is suggested that there should be well maintained supervision from the leaders of the public health centre and more efforts to improve the quality of human resources by providing opportunities for the nurses to achieve higher levels of education.
