PETA SEBARAN KASUS KEMATIAN MANUSIA AKIBAT RABIES DI PROVINSI SULAWESI UTARA TAHUN 2014-2017
Abstract
Penyakit rabies telah menyebar hampir ke seluruh Provinsi Sulawesi Utara sejak tahun 2014 sampai 2017 sebanyak 84 korban. Namun, informasi belum dilaporkan secara terinci maka dibutuhkan penerapan suatu sistem yang memantau informasi rabies secara geografi sehingga memudahkan dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan program pencegahan dan pengendalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan memperoleh peta sebaran kasus kematian rabies di Sulawesi Utara tahun 2014-2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ekologis. Data diperoleh secara sekunder dari Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Sulawesi Utara. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Sistem Informasi Geografis (SIG) dengan software Arc-GIS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kasus kematian akibat rabies tertinggi yaitu Kabupaten Minahasa Selatan sebanyak 19 kasus, kemudian diikuti Kabupaten Minahasa dan Kabupaten Minahasa Utara sebanyak 15 kasus. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penyebaran virus rabies sangat luas dan siklus penularannya terus terjadi Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu kasus kematian manusia akibat rabies di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara terjadi di hampir semua kabupaten/ kota di Sulawesi Utara. Diharapkan penelitian dikembangkan lebih lanjut dan pemetaan ini dapat menjadi rekomendasi bagi pemerintah dalam menyusun program penyakit menular lainnya.

ABSTRACT
Rabies has spread to almost all of North Sulawesi Province from 2014 to 2017 with 84 victims. However, information has not been reported in detail so that it is necessary to implement a system that monitors information on rabies geographically so as to facilitate planning, implementation of prevention and control programs. This study aims to obtain a distribution map of cases of rabies deaths in North Sulawesi in 2014-2017. This research is ecological research. Data was obtained secondary from the North Sulawesi Provincial Health Office. Data analysis was performed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with Arc-GIS software. The results showed the highest cases of death due to rabies, namely South Minahasa District, 19 cases, followed by 15 Minahasa District and North Minahasa Regency. This condition shows that the spread of the rabies virus is very broad and the transmission cycle continues to occur. Based on this, the conclusion of this study is that cases of human deaths due to rabies in North Sulawesi Province occur in almost all districts / cities in North Sulawesi. It is hoped that further research will be developed and this mapping can be a recommendation for the government in developing other infectious disease programs.
