HUBUNGAN ANTARA TINGGI BADAN ORANG TUA DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA ANAK USIA 24-59 BULAN DI KECAMATAN TOMBATU KABUPATEN MINAHASA TENGGARA

Abstract


Prevalensi stunting mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2013 dengan prevalensi sebesar 37,2%. Tiggi badan orang tua menjadi faktor yang berpegaruh terhadap kejadian stunting. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat apakah tinggi badan orang tua berhubungan dengan masalah stunting. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian observsional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kecamatan Tombatu Kabupaten Minahsa Tenggara, bulan Juli-Oktober tahun 2018. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu semua balita yang berumur 24-59 bulan di Kecamatan Tombatu Kabupaten Minahasa dan jumlah sampel 75 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling dengan instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kuesioner dan alat ukur tinggi badan. Uji statistik dengan Fisher’s Exact pada a=0,05. Penelitian ini menunjukkan prevalensi ayah pendek dan ibu pendek sebesar 5,3% dan 30,7% dan stunting pada balita berjumlah 42,7%. hasil uji bivariate didapatkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara tinggi badan ayah dan tinggi badan ibu dengan kejadian stunting. Uji statistik menggunakan Fisher’s Exact didapatkan antara tinggi badan ayah, ibu, orang tua dihubungkan dengan kejadian stunting berturut-turut yaitu p value=0,307, p value=0,451, p value=1,000. Tidak ada hubungan antara tinggi badan ayah, tinggi badan ibu dan tinggi badan orang tua dengan kejadian stunting pada anak usia 24-59 bulan di Kecamatan Tombatu Kabupaten Minahasa Tenggara.

ABSTRACT
Stunting prevalence experienced an increase in 2013 with a prevalence of 37.2%. Parental body disease is a factor that influences the incidence of stunting. This study was conducted to see whether parental height was associated with stunting problems. This type of research is analytic observational research with cross sectional approach. This research was carried out in Tombatu District, Southeast Minahsa District, July-October 2018. The population of this study were all toddlers aged 24-59 months in Tombatu District, Minahasa Regency and a total sample of 75 respondents. The sampling technique was purposive sampling with the research instruments used, namely questionnaires and height measuring instruments. Statistical test with Fisher’s Exact at a = 0.05. This study shows the short prevalence of short fathers and mothers by 5.3% and 30.7% and stunting in infants amounted to 42.7%. The results of the bivariate test showed that there was no correlation between father's height and maternal height with the incidence of stunting. Statistical tests using Fisher's Exact were obtained between father's, mother's, parents' height and were associated with consecutive stunting, p value = 0.307, p value = 0.451, p value = 1,000. There was no correlation between father's height, maternal height and parental height with the incidence of stunting in children aged 24-59 months in Tombatu District, Southeast Minahasa Regency
