EFEKTIVITAS SIMPAN PINJAM KOPERASI BAGI MASYARAKAT PETANI DI DESA MANGARAN KECAMATAN KABARUAN KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN TALAUD

Abstract

The effectiveness of cooperative savings and loans is one of the programs or
activities that have a savings and loan system that is implemented and managed by
cooperatives in order to help people who are experiencing economic problems that
need funds and to develop businesses. The purpose of saving and loan cooperatives
is to prosper members and the community. This effort aims to increase the need and
ability to defend themselves and free themselves from economic difficulties.This
research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach. The focus of this research is the
effectivenes of cooperative savings and loans observed from the aspects of
production, efficiency, satisfactio, adaptation/ flexibility, and development.
Research informants were the head of the cooperative, members of the cooperative,
totaling six people. Data collection used interview guidelines, while the analysis
technique used is an interactive model analysis of miles and hubernan.The results
showed that the effectiveness of cooperative savings and loads in the production
stage is still ineffective, which is still experiencing losses in capital which causes
cooperatives not to run smoothly, in the efficiency and satisfaction stage it is said
to have not been effective because, it is still not good in providing services to
customers because of the lack of facilities and infrastructure, in the adaptation
stage is still not effective because there is still a lack of leadership to adapt in
providing socialization and training for employees, and the development stage is
not yet effective because there is still a lack of employees in place and facilities in
the cooperative are inadequate. The problem is an important note for cooperatives
because of constraints in the form of facilities and infrastructure, capital and
management services that are less effective that makes cooperatives not run
well.therefore, there needs to be more attention from the leadership so that it
complements the needs of the cooperative for the sake of progress and mutual
prosperity.
