EVALUASI KEBIJAKAN PEMBANGUNAN INFRASTRUKTUR DI KECAMATAN TOBELO KABUPATEN HALMAHERA UTARA

Abstract

Infrastructure development is very important for a country because it aims to improve people's welfare and increase
the country's economic growth. Infrastructure will be a long-term investment for a country. Infrastructure
development has become the national development program of the central government which is also carried out by
local governments. Infrastructure development is carried out to advance the region and even the country because by
increasing infrastructure development it can create progress in the economic and social fields of a region. This
implies that in every policy making related to development there must be equity in each region. Infrastructure plays an
important role as one of the driving forces for economic growth and development. The existence of adequate
infrastructure is needed. Physical facilities and infrastructure, or often referred to as infrastructure, are very
important parts of the community service system. Various physical facilities are vital to support various government,
economic, industrial and social activities in society and government. The success of local governments can also be
measured by achieving adequate infrastructure development in accordance with what is expected. Infrastructure
facilities are quite important for the community to use, however, given the inadequate road infrastructure makes it
difficult for people to be lazy to use these facilities. Development of an area shows a measure of the government's
success. The development in question can be in the form of infrastructure as well as human development. The North
Halmahera Regency government is also carrying out development in the infrastructure sector as contained in the
RPJMD North Halmahera Regency 2016-2021 to improve the quality of services in the field of health, education and
infrastructure, in this case the district government has made a program -program for infrastructure development such
as roads, waterways and drainage.
