Abstract

Rawai pancang adalah suatu alat penangkap ikan yang terdiri dari dua potong kayu pancang, dua utas tali sambung, dua buah kili-kili nomor 4, satu utas tali utama, 16 buah kili-kili nomor 7, dan 16 utas tali monofilament yang pada ujungnya diikat mata pancing nomor 15. Penelitian dilakukan dengan perlakuan berupa empat jenis umpan yang berasal dari irisan daging cumi (Sepia sp), ikan malalugis (Decapterus macarellus), ikan sardine (Amblygaster sp), dan ikan kebung (Rastrelliger sp) yang diacak. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriktif, didasarkan pada suatu studi kasus. Hasil analisis sidik ragam menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan jenis umpan berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap hasil tangkapan. Hasil uji Beda Nyata Terkecil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan umpan cumi sangat lebih baik dari umpan-umpan lainnya.
