Abstract

Raptor RVT-200 cultivator is used to create ideal soil conditions so that the soil can function as a suitable growing medium for plants. Research aimed to evaluate the performance of the Raptor RVT-200 cultivator on dry land of Matungkas Village, Dimembe District, North Minahasa Regency by analyzing work capacity, field efficiency, fuel consumption, tillage depth, and soil moisture content. Research method employed was observation conducted on an area measuring 20 × 6 m2, which was divided into three replicated plots, each measuring 20 × 2 m2. In each replication, one headland turn was performed. Results showed that the average forward speed was 0.624 m/s, the average engine speed was 2,253 RPM, fuel consumption rate was 78.34 ml, and soil moisture content was 26.74%. The theoretical field capacity was 0.224 ha/hour, the effective field capacity was 0.192 ha/hour, and the field efficiency was 85.59%.
