Abstract: Dental caries is the most common oral health problem among school-aged children and has a significant impact on their quality of life. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between dental caries, oral hygiene, and treatment needs with the quality of life of junior high school students in Manado City. This was a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design involving 300 children selected through cluster random sampling. Data were collected using the DMFT and OHI-S index examinations and the OHIP-14 questionnaire, then analyzed using the Spearman’s correlation test. The results showed that the majority of children had moderate DMFT and OHI-S scores, along with good quality of life. There were significant relationships between dental caries (p=0.034), oral hygiene (p=0.018), treatment needs (p=0.001), and quality of life. In conclusion, the higher the level of caries and treatment needs, and the poorer the oral hygiene, the lower the quality of life among children.
