Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the application of Quizizz as an assessment medium on online learning from the Public Sector Accounting and Auditing I courses. The research method used was quantitative descriptive. The research location is in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. The research was conducted from February to April 2022. The sampling method used was purposive sampling. The study used primary data with data collection methods using the Quizizz application instrument to get a recap of the results of the assessment from students then observation and analysis were carried out. Primary data is also obtained by providing questionnaires to be filled out by students after the lecture process is complete. The answers showed that the application of the Quizizz as an assessment media had a positive impact on increasing the average grade of the class and from the questionnaire results showed a positive response from the students where the largest percentage of students agreed that the use of the Quizizz as an assessment medium motivate students to take part in learning. The conclusion is that Quizizz is a tool that really helps the learning process, especially as an online learning assessment medium, especially in the Public Sector Accounting and Auditing I courses, majoring in Accounting, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado.
