Sistem Informasi Geografis Rest Area Di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara Berbasis Mobile

Abstract

Abstrak — Perkembangan teknologi turut mempengaruhi bidang transportasi, Rest area memilki tiga fungsi yaitu safety, comforting, dan informing. Rest area hanya diketahui pengguna jalan yang sering melewati jalur tersebut. Sebagian pengguna jalan yang melintasi area Provinsi Sulawesi Utara belum mengetahui lokasi rest area terdekat karena belum tersedianya sistem informasi tersebut. Masalah lainnya bagaiamana membuat sistem informasi yang bisa tersedia walaupun melewati lokasi yang belum tersedia jaringan yang memadai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode prototype dimulai tahapan komunikasi, perencanaan, pengumpulan data, perancangan, dan konstruksi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah Sistem Informasi Geografis Rest Area berlokasi di Provinsi Sulawesi Utara berbasis mobile.

Abstract — Technological developments also influence the field of transportation, the Rest area has three functions, namely safety, comforting, and informing.
