Abstract

 

This study aims to examine the influence of Talent management and Organizational Commitment on

Turnover intention at PT. Permodalan Nasional Madani (PNM) Mekaar Branch Kawangkoan,

Minahasa, North Sulawesi. Turnover intention, or the employee’s intention to leave the organization,

is one of the major challenges in human resource management. Therefore, this research investigates to

what extent talent management and employees’ commitment to the organization affect their desire to

stay. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with data analysis using Partial Least

Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Data were collected from 30 respondents, all of

whom are female employees. The results indicate that Talent management does not have a significant

effect on Turnover intention, but it has a significant positive effect on Organizational Commitment.

Meanwhile, Organizational Commitment does not significantly influence Turnover intention. The study

concludes that Talent management strengthens Organizational Commitment but is not sufficient to

reduce Turnover intention directly. Therefore, it is recommended that the company re-evaluate its

employee development programs and consider other influencing factors such as job satisfaction,

employee well-being, and psychological stress.
