KELEBIHAN DAN KEKURANGAN MENGGUNAKAN GOOGLE CLASSROOM: PENDAPAT MAHASISWA TERHADAP PLATFORM PEMBELAJARAN VIRTUAL DI ERA PANDEMI COVID-19

Abstract

                                                   ABSTRACT

     This research is entitled “Kelebihan dan Kekurangan Menggunakan Google Classroom: Pendapat Mahasiswa terhadap Platform Pembelajaran Virtual di Era Pandemi COVID-19â€. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the learning activity platform shifted to a virtual learning platform. Google Classroom application is one of the virtual learning platforms that can be used during this situation. This research aims to identify, analyze and describe what students have found in terms of using Google Classroom in online classroom. Students' opinions have a very important role in this research because data collection is based on their opinions. The participants selected for this research were 54 students in the English department of Sam Ratulangi University, specifically students in Academic and Contextual Written English class who used this application as their learning platform. In order to produce specific results, the researcher used survey with Close-ended questions for questioners in this research. The interview section to verify the data was obtained through the survey. These methods produced one complete result. The results show that based on students' opinions on Google Classroom, it has greater advantages than disadvantages in the online learning process. It helped students in online classroom by providing good features that helped them to submit, and read their materials easily.
