Abstract
                           ABSTRACT
   The title of this research is “PERSPEKTIF GURU PEREMPUAN TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS DARING SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19: STUDI PADA GURU BAHASA INGGRIS SMA SIAU, SITARO†which aims to find out the perspective of women as English teachers on their way to prepare the proper ELT materials in order to meet their expectation and their students’ understanding. All the objects in this research are female teachers in Siau Regency. Some issues indicated in this research are; typical of material uses, platform to provides the class, and result that already expected. Furthermore ,this research academically combined two points of view to be its focus namely gender perspective and ELT Materials, with two major questions that came as the leading questions: how the perspectives of women teachers in Siau impact their way of teaching in online class, and how they apply their materials to the students throughout online class. Some theories used in this research are taken from several experts namely; The Understanding of Perspectives by Sujarwo (2020), The Theory of E-learning by Hartono (2016) and Hartley ( 2001),and Digital Gender Gap by Kuroda (2019). The use of methodology in this research was qualitative research based with interview and observation. The result shows that the teachers mostly find easy way in teaching time, the flexibility time, and also they can learn about something new when they do teaching through online platform, beside, the ELT material preparation can be more easy to access by their students, but there still unbenefit things that impacted them when they finish online teaching, one of them is the character building of the student that are not in control because the class is onlining. As conclusion this research contains the women teachers’ point of view and their efforts on making creative and eficient class activities which impactful to themselves and their students, as where, those two ideas are really needed in the future’s goals in educational gender issues especially in English Language Teaching.
