HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN PENGGUNAAN INSULIN DENGAN HIPOGLIKEMIA PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS DI POLI PENYAKIT DALAM RSU GMIM PANCARAN KASIH MANADO

Abstract

Abstract:.Diabetes mellitus is a major of health problems. Incomprehension of patients about therapy increase noncompliance in taking insulin. Hypoglycemia is a condition which blood glucose below normal or less than 70 mg/dl. The purpose of this research is to know about the knowledge relationship with the use of insulin with hypoglycemia in patients in the clinic interna of GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado hospital. This research is a descriptive analytic with cross sectional design. The sampling method used to total sampling that consist of 60 respondents.The research instrument is an interview of the 10 statements about the use of insulin and knowledge and questionnaire 7 questions about hypoglicemia .Theanswers already collected is being analized using the Chi-square test and counted by SPSS. The result of this research which is gain the trusted level of 95% show value p=0,005. This pvalue is smaller than á = 0,05. The conclusion of this research is showed that a significant relationshipabout the knowledge relationship with the use of insulin with hypoglycemia n patients in the clinic interna of GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado hospital. Ketidakpahaman pasien terhadap terapi meningkatkan ketidakpatuhan pasien dalam mengkonsumsi insulin. Hipoglikemia merupakan suatu keadaan dimana kadar glukosa dalam darah dibawah normal yaitu <70mg/dl. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan penggunaan insulin dengan hipoglikemia pada pasien diabetes melitus di Poli Penyakit Dalam RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih Manado. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan yaitu total sampling sebanyak 60 orang. Instrument penelitian berupa wawancara 10 pernyataan pengetahuan penggunaan insulin dan kuesioner 7 pertanyaan hipoglikemia. Jawaban dianalisa dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil penelitian didapat pada tingkat kepercayaan 95% menunjukkan nilai p=0,005. Nilai p ini lebih kecil dari nilai á = 0,05. Simpulan penelitian ini terdapat hubungan pengetahuan penggunaan insulin dengan hipoglikemia pada pasien diabetes melitus di Poli Penyakit Dalam RSU GMIM Pancaran Kasih.
