ABSTRACT
World Nutritional condition today shows two extreme conditions, start from starvation to the diet is low in fiber and high in calories, resulting in malnutrition or excess nutrients to person. The report of Riskesdas 2010, nationally short prevalence (TB / U) in adolescents aged 16-18 years is a very short 7.2% and short 24.0%. While the prevalence of emaciation (IMT / U) which is very meager 1.8% , underweight 7.1% and obesity at 1.4%.This research was an observational analytic with cross sectional approach. Research done in SMP N 13 Manado, from September to November 2015. The sample which taken totaled 140 students by using technique simple random sampling. This research also Using the Spearman correlation test. according to IMT / U students nutritional status in SMP N 13 Manado have normal categories amount 51% and the least very meager 4%. Nutritional status of TB / U most normal nutritional status amount 74.3%. Less energy intake 67.9%, less carbohydrate intake 71.4%, less protein intake 77.1%, and 67.1% less fat intake.There is no relationship between energy intake and nutritional status of IMT / U, there is a relationship between energy intake and nutritional status of TB / U, there is no relationship between carbohydrate intake and nutritional status of IMT / U, there is no relationship between energy intake and nutritional status of TB / U, there is no relationship between protein intake and nutritional status of IMT / U, there is a relationship between protein intake and nutritional status of TB / U, there is a relation between fat intake and nutritional status of IMT / U, There is no relationship between fat intake and nutritional status of TB / U.

Kondisi gizi dunia saat ini menunjukkan dua kondisi yang ekstrim, mulai dari kelaparan sampai pada pola makan yang rendah serat dan tinggi kalori sehingga mengakibatkan kekurangan gizi ataupun kelebihan gizi pada seseorang. Laporan Riskesdas 2010, secara nasional prevalensi kependekan (TB/U) pada remaja umur 16-18 tahun yaitu sangat pendek 7,2% dan pendek 24,0%. Sedangkan prevalensi kekurusan (IMT/U) yaitu sangat kurus 1,8% dan kurus 7,1%. Dan kegemukan sebesar 1,4%.Penelitian ini bersifat observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian di lakukan di SMP N 13 Manado, pada bulan September-November 2015. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 140 pelajar dengan menggunakan teknik sampel simple random sampling. Menggunakan uji statistik korelasi Spearman. status gizi menurut IMT/U pada pelajar SMP N 13 Manado yang paling banyak kategori normal 51% dan yang paling sedikit sangat kurus 4%. Status gizi TB/U yang paling banyak status gizi normal yaitu 74,3%. Asupan energi kurang 67,9%, asupan karbohidrat kurang 71,4%, asupan protein kurang 77,1%, dan asupan lemak kurang 67,1%. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi IMT/U, terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi TB/U, tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan karbohidrat dengan status gizi IMT/U, tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan energi dengan status gizi TB/U, tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan protein dengan status gizi IMT/U, terdapat hubungan antara asupan protein dengan status gizi TB/U, terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak dengan status gizi IMT/U, Tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak dengan status gizi TB/U.
