ABSTRACT
The Lack of providing nutrition especially on children, will cause the reducing potency of society development resources in the future. The nutritional problem on teenagers need to get special attention because it can influence their growth and body development, and also to nutritional problem on adult. Adolescence is a period when the changing on physical, cognitive, and psychosocial or behavior happen rapidly. Student achievement is the substance that cannot be separated from study, because study itself is the process whereas the student achievement is the result of study process. This research aimed to know if there was the relation between the nutritional status with student achievement of XI grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado.This research used observational analytic study with cross-sectional design. The Sample on this research was 80 students, which were taken from all XI grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado which has the total 411 students, by using the proportional random sampling technique. To determine the nutritional status of the tall of body, it was measured by using microtoise and the weight of body by using digital scale. The student achievement was determined by taking the score of odd semester test result. The result of chi-square correlation test of IMT/U showed that the value of Ï is 0,007 (<0,05), with correlation koefisien = 0,302, TB/U significant value Ï = 0,628 (> 0,05). There was a relation between nutritional status with student achievement of XI grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado. There was not a relation between nutritional status with student achievement of XI grade students at SMA Negeri 7 Manado.

ABSTRAK
Pemberian gizi yang kurang baik terutama kepada anak-anak, akan menyebabkan menurunnya potensi sumber daya pembangunan masyarakat dimasa yang akan datang. Masalah gizi pada masa remaja perlu mendapat perhatian khusus karena berpengaruh pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tubuh, serta masalah gizi saat dewasa. Masa remaja atau adolescence adalah waktu terjadinya perubahan-perubahan yang berlangsung cepat dalam hal pertumbuhan fisik, kognitif dan psikososial atau tingkah laku. Prestasi belajar merupakan hal yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kegiatan belajar, karena kegiatan belajar merupakan suatu proses sedangkan prestasi belajar merupakan hasil dari suatu proses belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara status gizi dengan prestasi belajar siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 7 Manado. Penelitian ini menggunakan observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 80 siswa yang diambil dari seluruh siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 7 Manado yang berjumlah 411 siswa, dengan menggunakan teknik Proportional Random Sampling. Penentuan status gizi tinggi badan diukur dengan microtoise dan berat badan dengan timbangan injak digital. Prestasi belajar ditentukan dengan mengambil hasil nilai ujian semester ganjil. Uji penelitian menggunakan uji statistic chi-square. Hasil uji korelasi chi-square IMT/U diperoleh nilaiÂ Ï sebesar 0,007 (<0,05), dengan koefisien korelasi  = 0,302, sedangkan TB/U nilai signifikan Ï = 0,628 (> 0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara status gizi IMT/U dengan prestasi belajar pada siswa SMA Negeri 7 Manado, tidak terdapat hubungan antara status gizi TB/U dengan prestasi belajar pada siswa SMA Negeri 7 Manado.
