ABSTRACT
Fungal infections of the oral cavity often caused by Candida albicans.it is known as candidiasis. The use of antifungal drugs often lead to fungal resistance. Alternative treatments traditional any as an may avoid resistance. One of plants are used as traditional medicine are the soursop leaves. Soursop leaves contain natural compound flavonoids wich serves an antifungal. This research aims to determine the inhibitiom of soursop leaf extract on the growth of Candida albicans. Using pure experimental design with post test only control design with Kirby bauer using filter paper. Subjects of this research is the third soupsop leaves many fifty from the top are extracted by maceration method using ethanol 96%. The result of this research, the average diameter of inhibit zone soursop leaf axtract (Annona murcata L) on the growth of the fungus Candida albicans 12,5mm. Inhibition of soursop leaf extract include strong category. Inhibition zone diameter of soursop leaf extract is smaller than the diameter of inhibition zone of antifungal drugs.

ABSTRAK
Infeksi jamur pada rongga mulut yang sering disebabkan oleh Candida albicans. Infeksi tersebut tampak dalam bentuk kandidiasis. Pemberian obat anti jamur yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi hal tersebut menyebabkan resistensi terhadap jamur. Penggunaan obat tradisonal dapat menjadi pilihan untuk menghindari hal tersebut. Salah satu obat tradisional yaitu daun sirsak. Daun sirsak memiliki kandungan senyawa alami flavonoid yang berfungsi sebagai anti jamur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya hambat ekstrak daun sirsak terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental laboratorium, menggunakan rancangan eksperimental murni (true experimental design) dengan rancangan penelitian post test only control design dengan metode Kirbybauer menggunakan kertas saring. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu daun sirsak urutan ketiga sebanyak 50 buah dari pucuk yang dieksraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut etanol 96%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata diameter zona hambat ekstrak daun sirsak (Annona murcata L) terhadap pertumbuhan jamur Candida albicans sebesar 12,5 mm. Daya hambat dari ekstrak daun sirsak termasuk kategori kuat menurut David dan Stout.
