ABSTRACT
Langsat’s parasite (Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq.) is a hemi-parasite plant that is empirically used as a traditional medicine which contain the component of flavonoids, tannins, alkaloids, and saponins. The objective of this research was to determine differences in the content of chemical components at various stages of development langsat’s parasite leaves, by comparing the chemical components of shoot leaves, young leaves and old leaves. Gas Chromatography analysis results showed there were differences in chemical components. Shoot leaves had 15 chemical compounds, young leaves had 41 chemical compounds and old leaves had 22 chemical compounds. Each of every compounds has a different peak retention time and area. The greater of the peak area is the higher concentration of the compound. Shoot leaves showed 36999 total peak area , young leaves showed 150859 total peak area and old leaves showed 290897 total peak area.

ABSTRAK
Benalu langsat (Dendrophthoe pentandra (L.) Miq.) merupakan tumbuhan hemi-parasit yang secara empiris digunakan sebagai obat tradisional yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid, tanin, alkaloid dan saponin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kandungan komponen kimia pada berbagai tingkat perkembangan daun benalu langsat, dengan membandingkan komponen kimia pada daun pucuk, daun muda dan daun tua. Hasil analisis kromatografi gas menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan komponen kimia. Daun pucuk memiliki jumlah komponen kimia sebanyak 15 senyawa, daun muda sebanyak 41 senyawa, daun tua sebanyak 22 senyawa. Setiap senyawa memiliki waktu retensi dan luas puncak yang berbeda. Semakin besar luas puncak maka semakin tinggi konsentrasi senyawa. Daun pucuk memiliki total luas puncak sebesar 36999, daun muda memiliki total luas puncak sebesar 150859, dan daun tua memiliki total luas puncak sebesar 290897.
