Studi Penggunaan Antibiotik Non Resep di Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado

ABSTRACT
      The use of antibiotics requires proper clinical consideration to meet rationality so as to ensure maximum safety, accuracy and effectiveness. This study aims to find out the level of knowledge of the use of antibiotics without a prescription in Malalayang Subdistrict Bahu Village manado city which is reviewed from the level of awareness of antibiotic use and behavior that affects using antibiotics without a doctor's prescription. This research is descriptive with accidental sampling. The results of the study were obtained by respondents with a total of 380 respondents had used antibiotics without a prescription and the respondent's level of awareness was still low (61.84%). Behavior of respondents using antibiotics without a prescription: sources obtained antibiotics (79.74%) from pharmacies, recommended using antibiotics the majority of doctors (33.42%), willingness to use at any time (55.26%), the most commonly purchased antibiotic is amoxicillin (41.05%), a disease that is often treated, namely fever symptoms (21.84%), the advice obtained in buying antibiotics the majority buy all (52.63%). The high use of antibiotics without a prescription can also cause clinical and economic harm.

ABSTRAKÂ Â Â Â Â Â Penggunaan antibiotik memerlukan pertimbangan klinis yang tepat untuk memenuhi rasionalitas sehingga menjamin keamanan, ketepatan dan efektivitas yang maksimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan penggunaan antibiotik tanpa resep di Kelurahan Bahu Kecamatan Malalayang Kota Manado yang ditinjau dari tingkat kesadaran terhadap penggunaan antibiotik dan perilaku yang mempengaruhi menggunakan antibiotik tanpa resep dokter. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan pengambilan sampel secara accidental sampling. Hasil penelitian didapatkan responden dengan jumlah 380 responden pernah menggunakan antibiotik tanpa resep dan tingkat kesadaran responden masih rendah (61,84%). Perilaku responden menggunakan antibiotik tanpa resep: sumber memperoleh antibiotik sebanyak (79,74%) dari apotek, anjuran menggunakan antibiotik mayoritas dari dokter (33,42%), kesediaan untuk digunakan sewaktu-waktu (55,26%), antibiotik yang paling sering dibeli yaitu amoxicillin (41,05%), penyakit yang sering diobati yaitu gejala demam (21,84%), anjuran yang diperoleh dalam membeli antibiotik mayoritas membeli semua (52,63%). Tingginya penggunaan antibiotik tanpa resep juga dapat menimbulkan kerugian secara klinis maupun ekonomi.
