Focus and Scope

The Studies of Social Sciences (TSSS) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal that publishes original research, conceptual studies, and research-based community engagement articles in the social sciences and related interdisciplinary fields.

The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge, encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, and support sustainable social and community development.

TSSS focuses on the following areas:

1. Economic Development and Community Empowerment: Entrepreneurship, cooperatives, creative industries, MSMEs, poverty reduction, and sustainable local economies.

2. Arts, Culture, Religion, Law, Governance, and Social Transformation: Cultural heritage, language, literature, religion, law, public governance, social harmony, and societal change.

3. Education, Human Development, and Digital Society: Educational innovation, human capital, scientific literacy, digital learning, and social development.

4. Public Health, Pharmaceutical Policy, and Social Well-Being: Public health, pharmaceutical ethics and policy, community health behavior, health communication, and social welfare.

5. Science, Technology, Biotechnology, and Society: Social, economic, and ethical implications of scientific innovation, biotechnology, and technological development.

6. Rural, Coastal, and Environmental Sustainability: Local wisdom, community-based resource management, biodiversity conservation, environmental governance, and sustainable livelihoods.

7. Interdisciplinary Public Policy and Sustainable Development: Cross-disciplinary research on public policy, social innovation, community development, and socioeconomic sustainability.

Peer Review Process

The Studies of Social Sciences (TSSS) applies a blind peer-review process to ensure the originality, scholarly quality, methodological rigor, and ethical integrity of published articles.

All submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening for relevance to the journal's aims and scope, compliance with author guidelines, originality, and publication ethics. Manuscripts that meet these requirements are evaluated by qualified reviewers with relevant expertise.

Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, scholarly contribution, methodological quality, validity of findings, and clarity of presentation while maintaining confidentiality and declaring any conflicts of interest.

Based on reviewers' recommendations, the Editor-in-Chief or authorized editors make editorial decisions, including acceptance, minor revision, major revision, further review, or rejection. Authors must address reviewers' comments and submit revised manuscripts through the journal's online submission system.

Authors of rejected manuscripts will be informed of the reasons for rejection and may submit an appeal in accordance with the journal's Complaints and Appeals Policy.

TSSS ensures that all editorial decisions are made independently, fairly, and transparently in accordance with recognized publication ethics standards.

Publication Frequency

Journal of The Studies of Social Science is published two times a year (April and October).

The Studies of Social Sciences (TSSS) provides immediate and unrestricted open access to all published articles, ensuring that scholarly research is freely available to readers worldwide without subscription fees or access barriers.

Authors retain copyright to their work, and published articles are distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-SA 4.0), permitting sharing and adaptation with appropriate attribution and compliance with ShareAlike requirements.

This policy promotes the global exchange of knowledge, academic collaboration, research visibility, and the responsible dissemination of scholarly findings.
