Abstract: Occupational disease is a serious health problem in the world of work that has the potential to cause injuries and various musculoskeletal diseases including low back pain (LBP). This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between work posture and LBP complaint among surgical nurses. Samples were surgical nurses of Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital as many as 30 respondents. The results showed that the majority of respondents were ≤45 years (70%), and had LBP complaint (96,7%). Male respondents were predominant than females (53.3% : 46.7%). Based on REBA, the most frequent risk levels were high risk (50%) and moderate risk (36.7%). The Spearman correlation test obtained a p-value of 0.288 indicating a non significant relationship between work posture and LBP complaint.
