Analisis pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dokter keluarga terhadap pemberian antibiotik di Sulawesi Utara

Latar Belakang: Penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak rasional masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan global dan merupakan pendorong utama meningkatnya resistensi antibiotik. Sulawesi Utara menunjukkan peningkatan penggunaan antibiotik kategori Access pada tahun 2021–2022 sehingga diperlukan evaluasi untuk memastikan praktik klinis sesuai pedoman. Dokter keluarga sebagai garda terdepan pelayanan kesehatan primer memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam pengendalian penggunaan antibiotik secara tepat.
Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dokter keluarga dalam pemberian antibiotik serta menganalisis hubungan antara lama praktik dokter keluarga dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan tersebut.
Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif potong lintang melalui penyebaran kuesioner Google-form kepada 91 dokter keluarga yang bekerja sama dengan BPJS di Sulawesi Utara. Analisis univariat digunakan untuk mengetahui distribusi frekuensi variabel penelitian, sedangkan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank untuk menilai hubungan lama praktik dengan pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan dalam pemberian antibiotik.
Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh responden memiliki pengetahuan (100%) dan sikap (100%) yang baik dalam pemberian antibiotik, serta sebagian besar menunjukkan tindakan yang baik (95,6%) dan sebagian kecil tindakan cukup (4,4%). Hasil uji korelasi menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara lama praktik dengan pengetahuan (p = 0,556; r = -0,062), sikap (p = 0,714; r = -0,039), maupun tindakan (p = 0,801; r = -0,027).
Kesimpulan: Dokter keluarga di Sulawesi Utara memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan yang baik dalam pemberian antibiotik, dan lama praktik tidak berhubungan secara signifikan dengan ketiga variabel tersebut.
