Analisis Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Pemilihan Moda Transportasi Online Pelajar Universitas Sam Ratulangi dan SMA Negeri 9 Manado

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the choice of online transportation modes by students in Manado City, as well as to identify student movement patterns in using these services. The background of this study is based on the increasing use of online transportation among students as a response to technological advances and decreasing dependence on conventional city transportation. The study was conducted at two educational institutions, namely Sam Ratulangi University and SMA Negeri 9 Manado, with a total of 400 students as respondents. The research method used a quantitative approach with binary logistic regression analysis to test the influence of five independent variables, namely travel time, cost, comfort, safety, and accessibility on the choice of online transportation modes. In addition, spatial analysis was conducted to observe movement patterns based on the location of origin and destination of students' trips. The results showed that all independent variables had a significant influence on the choice of online transportation modes. Accessibility was the most dominant factor (98.8%), followed by comfort (94.3%), travel time (93.8%), safety (85.4%), and cost (82.5%). Spatial analysis shows that students come from various sub-districts in Manado City and surrounding areas with peak activity times occurring in the morning and afternoon.
