Nilai Ekonomi Total Agrowisata Melby’Ls di Kelurahan Kumelembuai Kecamatan Tomohon Timur Kota Tomohon

Abstract

Agrotourism plays an important role in supporting local economic development and environmental sustainability based on agricultural resources. However, the economic contribution of agrotourism is often measured only from direct revenue, which does not fully reflect the total benefits generated. This study aims to calculate the Total Economic Value (TEV) of Melby’Ls Agrotourism in Kumelembuai Village, East Tomohon Sub-District, Tomohon City. The study was conducted from June to July 2025 using a survey method with a descriptive quantitative approach. Primary data were collected through interviews and questionnaires administered to managers, local communities, and visitors. Data analysis was carried out by calculating direct use value and non-use value using the Total Economic Value approach. The results show that the total economic value of Melby’Ls Agrotourism is IDR 21,096,551,990, consisting of a direct use value of IDR 21,096,022,000 and a non-use value of IDR 549,990. The direct use value is mainly contributed by physical assets and key facilities such as lodging, halls, and tourism attractions. These findings indicate that Melby’Ls Agrotourism provides significant economic benefits and has strong potential for sustainable development to enhance local community welfare.
