Abstract: Noise-induced hearing disorder is hearing disorder caused by long-term exposure of high intensity noise and usually occurred in working environment. Noise in working environment is one of the main problem in occupational health in many countries including Indonesia. The relationship between excessive noise exposure and hearing loss was known since ancient times. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of machine’s noise to hearing threshold. Metodology used in this study was analytic with cross-sectional design. Samples in this study was 20 workers from children’s playground “Timezone†and “Amazoneâ€. Data taken from direct interview and hearing function assessment using audiometry. Data was analyzed using Statistical Program Product and Service Solution (SPSS) and using fisher exact test. Result of this study shown that there are hearing loss in 40% of samples. Workers exposed with high intensity noise and work ≥ 10 years has increased risk of hearing loss compared to workers exposed with lower intensity noise and work <10 years. Data obtained by fisher exact test show value p=0,014 (p<0,05) indicating the data were significant. This test also showed that there is effect of machine’s noise to hearing threshold. Based on this study, it can be concluded that there is relationship between worktime and noise intensity (>85 dB) with occurrence of hearing loss.
