Abstract

Abstract : Anxiety is often complained of by patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) undergoing hemodialysis process. This study aimed to determine the level of anxiety among patients with CKD who underwent hemodialysis in Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Hospital Manado. This was a descriptive study using survey method. Sanples were patients with CKD who underwent hemodialysis and fulfiled the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that there were 40 respondents. The majority of respondents that experienced anxiety were by the age of 40-60 years (37.5%), males and females were the same (50%), level of education was bachelor in 17 people (42.5%), civil employees 14 people (35%), hemodialysis duration <6 months and >6 months, each consisted of 20 people (50%). Conclusion: CKD patients who underwent hemodialysis <6 month had significant level of severe anxiety compared with patients who underwent hemodialysis > 6 months.

Abstrak: Kecemasan merupakan salah satu hal yang sering dikeluhkan oleh pasien Penyakit Ginjal Kronik (PGK) yang menjalani proses hemodialisis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kecemasan pasien PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis di Instalasi Tindakan Khusus Haemodialisis Ruangan Melati BLU. RSUP. Prof. Dr R. D. Kandou Manado. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif dengan metode survei. Sampel penelitian ialah penderita PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis dan memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi di Instalasi Tindakan Khusus Haemodialisis Ruangan Melati BLU RSUP Prof. Dr. R. D. Kandou Manado. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan 40 responden. Responden terbanyak mengalami tingkat kecemasan berdasarkan umur 40-60 tahun yaitu 15 orang (37,5%), jenis kelamin sama antara laki-laki dan perempuan yaitu 20 orang (50%), tingkat pendidikan Sarjana 17 orang (42,5%), pekerjaan PNS 14 orang (35%), lamanya menjalani hemodialisis <6 bulan dan >6 bulan, masing-masing 20 orang (50%). Simpulan: Pasien PGK yang menjalani hemodialisis <6 bulan memiliki tingkat kecemasan yang signifikan berat dibandingkan dengan yang menjani hemodialisis >6 bulan.
