Sistem Informasi Geografis Penyebaran Covid-19 di Kota Manado Berbasis Mobile

Abstract

Abstract — In Manado City, people who have been confirmed positive for Covid-19 have now reached 12,673 people, information on the spread of Covid-19 can be accessed through the city government's official website, but the appearance of the website when accessed via mobile devices sometimes does not match the display accessed via PC/ Laptops so less effective. Along with the development of technology and information today, all information will be more easily and effectively accepted by everyone, so accessing information on the spread of Covid-19 with mobile devices. The purpose of this research is to design a Geographic Information System for the Spread of Covid-19 in Manado City based on Mobile with the Android operating system. Android, which is an operating system that is widely used and easy, has become an option in the development of this system. The software development research methodology used in this study is the Waterfall Method, because this method runs a one-by-one gradual development process that must be completed to go to the next stage. Based on the results and discussion of the implementation of the web app interface, the application interface and the results of black box testing, the application runs according to the design. The application has been successfully designed and can run well on the Android platform, and can help the public in obtaining information about the distribution.

Abstrak — Di Kota Manado orang yang terkonfirmasi positif terkena Covid-19 sampai saat ini sudah mencapai 12.673 orang, informasi penyebaran Covid-19 dapat di akses melalui website resmi pemerintah kota namun tampilan website ketika diakses melalui perangkat Handphone terkadang tidak sesuai dengan tampilan yang diakses melalui PC/Laptop sehingga kurang efektif. Seiring perkembangan teknologi dan informasi saat ini semua informasi akan lebih mudah dan efektif diterima setiap orang, maka dalam mengakses informasi penyebaran Covid-19 dengan perangkat mobile. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk merancang Sistem Informasi Geografis Penyebaran Covid-19 di Kota Manado Berbasis Mobile dengan sistem operasi Android. Android yang merupakan sistem operasi yang banyak digunakan dan mudah, menjadi pilihan dalam pengembangan sistem ini. Metodologi penelitian pengembangan perangkat lunak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metode Waterfall, karena metode ini menjalankan proses pengembangan bertahap one by one yang harus diselesaikan untuk menuju ke tahap selanjutnya. Berdasarkan hasil dan pembahasan implementasi antarmuka web app, antarmuka aplikasi dan hasil pengujian black box, aplikasi berjalan sesuai dengan perancangan. Aplikasi berhasil dirancang dan dapat dijalankan dengan baik diplatform android, serta dapat membantu masyarakat dalam memperoleh informasi mengenai penyebaran.
