Abstract - Pilmapres is a student competition held annually by the National Achievement Center which aims to identify and appreciate students who have extraordinary achievements and potential in various fields. One of the important stages of Pilmapres is the selection process for outstanding students from the university level. A decision support system is a system that can help decision makers in complex situations against several criteria. One of the methods in the Decision Support System is the VIKOR method. The VIKOR method can calculate a number of alternatives against several criteria determined by the Decision maker. In this study, the VIKOR method was applied with a case study of the outstanding student selection process. In this study, the system built using scientific methods can provide objective and fast selection results, in accordance with the criteria and assessment weights given by the decision maker. For further research, other multicriteria decision making methods can be used to compare the selection results with the VIKOR method.

Abstrak - Pemilihan Mahasiswa Berprestasi (Pilmapres) adalah kompetisi mahasiswa yang diadakan setiap tahun oleh Pusat Prestasi Nasional yang bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengapresiasi mahasiswa yang memiliki prestasi dan potensi yang luar biasa di berbagai bidang. Salah satu tahap penting dari Pilmapres adalah proses seleksi mahasiswa berprestasi dari tingkat universitas. Sistem pendukung keputusan adalah sistem yang dapat membantu pengambil keputusan dalam situasi yang kompleks terhadap beberapa kriteria. Salah satu metode yang ada dalam Sistem Pendukung Keputusan adalah metode VIKOR. Metode VIKOR dapat melakukan perhitungan dari sejumlah alternatif terhadap beberapa kriteria yang ditentukan oleh pembuat Keputusan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan penerapan metode VIKOR dengan studi kasus proses seleksi mahasiswa berprestasi. Pada penelitian ini, sistem yang dibangun menggunakan metode ilmiah dapat memberikan hasil seleksi yang objektif dan cepat, sesuai dengan kriteria dan bobot penilaian yang diberikan oleh pembuat keputusan.
Untuk penelitian berikutnya dapat mencoba menggunakan metode multicriteria decision making laiinya untuk membandingkan hasil seleksi dengan metode VIKOR.
