Sektor pariwisata di Indonesia saat ini telah memberikan sumbangan dalam meningkatkan devisa maupun lapangan kerja. Sektor pariwisata juga membawa dampak sosial, ekonomi, maupun dalam konteks pelestarian dan pengelolaan lingkungan, sumber daya alam, dan budaya yang semakin arif dan bijaksana. Berbagai fasilitas dan kemudahan serta hiburan telah disediakan oleh pemerintah ataupun komponen pendukung pariwisata lainnya. Salah satu fasilitas yang di kembangkan adalah konsep E-Tourism. E-Tourism memberikan informasi tujuan wisata dengan berbagai kebutuhan bagi para wisatawan.Tugas akhir ini bertujuan membangun sebuah sistem informasi pariwisata kabupaten pulau morotai berbasis internet. Situs ini memberikan informasi tentang tempat-tempat,cara menuju , jenis pariwisata (wisata pantai, laut dan, sejarah). Sistem perancangan dalam pembuatan E-Tourism Kabupaten Pulau morotai menggunakan Wordpress. Dengan menggunakan fitur-fitur  yang telah disediakan wordpress maka pengerjaan website lebih cepat dan mudah.

Abstract

The tourism sector in Indonesia has contributed to the increase of foreign exchange and employment. The tourism sector is also brings the social, economic, as well as in the context of conservation and environmental management, natural resources, and culture increasingly wise and prudent. Various facilities and services as well as entertainment provided by the government or other tourism support component. One of the facilities being developed is the concept of E-Tourism. E-Tourism provides destination information with a variety of needs for the final traveler.This final task aims to build an information system based tourism district Morotai Island internet. This site provides information about places, ways to go, types of tourism (beaches, sea and history). System design in the manufacture of E-Tourism District Morotai Island using Wordpress. By using the features that have been provided wordpress, this website work faster and easier.
