DESCRIPTION:
Aquatic Science & Management (JASM) (Aquat. Sci. Manag.) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal focusing on environmental quality, coastal systems, and sustainable aquatic resources. The journal publishes original research advancing scientific understanding of freshwater, estuarine, coastal, and marine environments, with an emphasis on linking aquatic processes, environmental pressures, and evidence-based management.
Linking aquatic processes, environmental quality, and evidence-based management.
JASM welcomes rigorous empirical, analytical, experimental, and interdisciplinary studies in aquatic ecology, limnology, oceanography, aquatic pollution and ecotoxicology, coastal and marine systems, fisheries, biodiversity conservation, climate change, circular economy, and aquatic environmental management.
With a particular interest in tropical aquatic systems, especially the Coral Triangle and the broader Indo-Pacific region, JASM encourages research that addresses emerging environmental challenges, advances scientific knowledge, and translates research findings into practical solutions for the conservation and sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems and resources. Contributions from other regions are also welcome when they offer significant scientific insights or management approaches relevant to the journal's scope.
