Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts may be submitted as original research articles, systematic review articles, and/or short research communications.
  • Manuscripts must be original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts should be written in either Indonesian or English using proper academic language.
  • All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
  • Authors must adhere to the publication ethics principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
  • All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism, with a maximum similarity index of 20% using tools such as Turnitin or iThenticate.

Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using the JA article template (please refer to the provided link).
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt; line spacing: 1.15; paper size: A4.
  • Tables should be titled above, and figures should be captioned below.
  • Image resolution must be at least 300 dpi, in JPEG or PNG format.
  • All illustrations must be clear, properly contrasted, and relevant to the content.
  • The use of reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is highly recommended.
  • At least 80% of references should be sourced from scientific journals published within the last 10 years.

Structure of Research Articles

  • Title (maximum 15 words)
  • Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) (including corresponding email)
  • Abstract (in Indonesian and English, maximum 200 words)
  • Keywords (3–5 words)
  • Introduction
  • Materials and Methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion and Recommendations
  • Acknowledgements (if any)
  • References
