Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

General Requirements

  • Manuscripts may be submitted in the form of original research articles, systematic review articles, and/or short communications.

  • The manuscript must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal.

  • Submissions may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English, using proper grammar and academic style.

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

  • Authors are required to adhere to the principles of publication ethics as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

  • Each submission will be checked for plagiarism, with a maximum similarity threshold of 20% (using Turnitin or iThenticate).

Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts must be prepared using the JSRA article template (click here to download).

  • Text should be written in Times New Roman, 12 pt font size, 1.15 line spacing, on A4-sized paper.

  • Tables must include titles placed above, while figures should include captions placed below.

  • Figures must be of high quality, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi, in JPEG or PNG format.

  • All illustrations should be clear, well-contrasted, and relevant to the content of the article.

  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.

  • At least 80% of the references should come from peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last 10 years.

Structure of Research Articles

  1. Title (maximum 15 words).

  2. Author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) (including corresponding author’s email address).

  3. Abstract in both Bahasa Indonesia and English (maximum 200 words).

  4. Keywords (3–5 words).

  5. Introduction.

  6. Materials and Methods.

  7. Results and Discussion.

  8. Conclusion and Recommendations.

  9. Acknowledgments (if applicable).

  10. References.

 

Persyaratan Umum

  • Jenis naskah yang diterima dapat berupa artikel penelitian (original research), artikel tinjauan (article review) yang bersifat sistematis, dan/atau laporan penelitian singkat.
  • Naskah harus asli, belum pernah diterbitkan, dan tidak sedang dalam proses publikasi di jurnal lain.
  • Ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia atau bahasa Inggris dengan tata bahasa yang baik.
  • Semua naskah melalui proses peer-review double-blind.
  • Penulis wajib mengikuti prinsip etika publikasi COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
  • Setiap naskah yang masuk akan diperiksa plagiarisme maksimal 20% (Turnitin/iThenticate).

Format Penulisan

  • Naskah disusun menggunakan template artikel JSRA (silahkan klik link berikut ini).
  • Jenis huruf: Times New Roman, ukuran 12 pt, spasi 1.15, ukuran kertas A4.
  • Tabel diberi judul di bagian atas, gambar di bagian bawah.
  • Resolusi gambar minimal 300 dpi, format JPEG atau PNG.
  • Semua ilustrasi harus jelas, kontras, dan relevan dengan isi artikel.
  • Disarankan menggunakan Mendeley, Zotero, atau EndNote.
  • Referensi minimal 80% berasal dari jurnal ilmiah 10 tahun terakhir.

Struktur Artikel Penelitian

  1. Judul (maks. 15 kata).
  2. Nama penulis dan afiliasi (dilengkapi email korespondensi).
  3. Abstrak (Bahasa Indonesia & Inggris, maks. 200 kata).
  4. Kata kunci (3–5 kata).
  5. Pendahuluan
  6. Metode Penelitian
  7. Hasil dan Pembahasan.
  8. Kesimpulan dan Saran.
  9. Ucapan Terima Kasih (bila ada).
  10. Daftar Pustaka.
