ABSTRACT
Hypertension is a condition in which a person experiences an increase in blood pressure above normal. Factors that influence the occurrence of hypertension is a factor that can not be changed include sex, age, ancestry. While the factors that can be changed are stress, obesity, diet, exercise, smoking, alcohol, and contraceptive pill. This type of research using analytic survey with cross-sectional. The number of sample is 99 people.The result shows that there is a correlation between the use of contraceptive pills with hypertension in fertile women among 99 respondents, there were 36 respondents (75%) who suffer from hypertension and the use of contraceptive pills, 12 respondents (25%) are suffering from hypertension but are not using contraception pills, 9 respondents (17.6%) were using contraception pill but donot suffer from hypertension, 42 respondents (82.4%) who do not use pills and did not suffer from hypertension. From the statistical test Chi-Square obtained p value = 0.000 and OR =14,0. And family history of hypertension shows that there is a correlation. Among the 99 respondents, there are 35 respondents (72.9%) are suffering from hypertension and a family history of hypertension, 13 respondents (27.1%) are suffering from hypertension but have no family history of hypertension, 19 respondents (37.3%) have family history of hypertension but do not suffer from hypertension, 32 respondents (62.7%) have no family history of hypertension and do not suffer from hypertension. From the statistical test Chi-Square obtained p value = 0.001 and OR =4,5. There is a correlation between the use of contraceptive pills and family history withhypertension.

ABSTRAK
Hipertensi adalah suatu keadaan dimana seseorang mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah di atas normal. Faktor - faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya hipertensi yaitu faktor yang tidak dapat diubah antara lain jenis kelamin, umur, keturunan. Sedangkan faktor yang dapat diubah adalah stress, obesitas, pola makan, olahraga, rokok, alkohol, dan kontrasepsi pil. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 99 orang. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan antara penggunaan kontrasepsi pil dengan hipertensi pada wanita pasangan usia subur diantara 99 responden, terdapat 36 responden (75%) yang menderita hipertensi dan menggunakan kontrasepsi pil, 12 responden (25%) yang menderita hipertensi tapi tidak menggunakan kontrasepsi pil, 9 responden (17,6%) yang menggunakan kontrasepsi pil tapi tidak menderita hipertensi, 42 responden (82,4%) yang tidak menggunakan kontrasepsi pil dan tidak menderita hipertensi. Dari hasil uji statistik Chi-Square diperoleh nilai p value = 0,000 dan OR = 14,0. Dan riwayat keluarga hipertensi menujukkan bahwa ada hubungan. Diantara 99 responden, terdapat 35 responden (72,9%) yang menderita hipertensi dan ada riwayat keluarga hipertensi, 13 responden (27,1%) yang menderita hipertensi tapi tidak ada riwayat keluarga yang hipertensi, 19 responden (37,3%) yang ada riwayat keluarga hipertensi tapi tidak menderita hipertensi, 32 responden (62,7%) yang tidak ada riwayat keluarga hipertensi dan tidak menderita hipertensi. Dari hasil uji statistik Chi-Square diperoleh nilai p value = 0,001 dan OR = 4,5.  Terdapat hubungan antara penggunaan kontrasepsi pil dan riwayat keluarga dengan hipertensi.
