ABSTRACT

The drug were defined as a substance For diagnosis, reduce pain, treat or prevent disease in humans, animals and plants. The problems are most commonly found on the system storage and distribution of drugs such as which does not use First In First Out (FIFO) and First expired First Out (FEFO) system, alphabetically system, class system of drug treatment, facilities and infrastructure of storage and distribution were insufficient. This study aimed to evaluate the storage and distribution of drugs in the pharmaceutical warehouse at the General Hospital of Prof. Dr. RD Kandou Manado which used an observational study descriptive and evaluative. The results showed that the storage systems and distribution of drugs in the Pharmacy Warehouse at the General Hospital of Prof. DR. RD Kandou are in accordance with the Standards of Pharmaceutical Care Hospital of Ministers of Health Regulation No. 58 Year (2014) but it must be complemented infrastructure and improve the quality of pharmacy services.

ABSTRAK

Obat didefenisikan sebagai suatu zat yang dimaksudkan untuk dipakai dalam diagnosis, mengurangi rasa sakit, mengobati atau mencegah penyakit pada manusia, hewan dan tumbuhan. Permasalahan yang paling sering ditemukan pada sistem penyimpanan dan pendistribusian obat diantaranya yaitu tidak menggunakan sistem First In First Out (FIFO) dan First expired First Out (FEFO), sistem alfabetis, sistem kelas terapi obat, sarana dan prasarana penyimpanan dan pendistribusian yang tidak memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi penyimpanan dan pendistribusian obat di gudang farmasi RSUP Prof DR. R.D Kandou Mando menggunakan metode observasional yang bersifat deskriptif dan evaluatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem penyimpanan dan pendistribusian obat di Gudang Farmasi Prof DR. R.D Kandou sudah sesuai dengan Standar Pelayanan Farmasi Rumah Sakit berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 58 Tahun (2014) tetapi harus lebih dilengkapi lagi sarana dan prasarana serta meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kefarmasian.
