           Dragon fruit is a tropical fruit with latin names in Cactacea Hylocereus polyrhizus (F.A.C.WEBER) BRITTON AND ROSE. red dragon fruit peel is rich in antioxidant compounds natural form of phenolic compounds, flavonoids, carotenoids, and anthocyanins. The Purpose of this study was to determine the total phenolic and flavonoids compounds of extract methanol, ethyl acetate and insoluble fraction H. polyrhizus peel. Extraction is with maceration method by using methanol and then do trituration with ethyl acetate solvent. Duration of phenolic compounds hearts samples was determined the colorimetric method maximum wavelength 744.8 nm and flavonoids maximum wavelength 431 nm. The Results showed that total phenolic content from methanol extract, Fraction ethyl acetate and insoluble fraction is successively 0.1994, 0.0196 and 0.4020μgGAE / g extract and total flavonoid content from methanol extract, Fraction ethyl acetate and insoluble fraction is successively 0.5139, 46.54 and 11.3811μgQE / g Extract.

Buah naga merupakan salah satu buah tropis yang termasuk di dalam suku Cactacea dengan nama latin Hylocereus polyrhizus (F.A.C.WEBER) BRITTON DAN ROSE. Kulit buah naga merah kaya akan senyawa antioksidan alami berupa senyawa fenolik, flavonoid, karotenoid, dan  antosianin. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui total senyawa fenolik dan flavonoid ekstrak metanol, fraksi larut etil asetat dan fraksi tidak larut (endapan) kulit H. polyrhizus . Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi dengan menggunakan metanol kemudian dilakukan triturasi dengan pelarut etil asetat. Jumlah senyawa fenolik dalam sampel ditentukan dengan metode kolorimetri pada panjang gelombang maksimum 744,8 nm dan flavonoid pada panjang gelombang maksimum 431 nm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kadar fenolik total dari ekstrak metanol, fraksi larut etil asetat dan fraksi tidak larut etil asetat (endapan)adalah berturut turut 0.1994, 0.0196 dan 0.4020µgGAE/g ekstrak dan kadar flavonoid total dari ekstrak metanol, fraksi larut etil asetat dan fraksi tidak larut etil asetat (endapan) adalah berturut-turut 0.5139, 46.54 dan 11.3811µgQE/g ekstrak.
