The purpose of this study was comparisoned antioxidant activity of mengkudu fruit juice and temulawak rhizome juice. The begin of this study were made mengkudu fruit juice and temulawak rhizome juice by juice extractor. These juices were diluted to various concentration and determined their antioxidant activities by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) method. The result showed that mengkudu fruit juice and temulawak rhizome juice had antioxidant activity. The IC50 of mengkudu fruit juice was 1822,9 µg/mL stronger than the IC50 of temulawak rhizome juice was 4797,2 µg/mL.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan aktivitas antioksidan dari jus buah mengkudu dan jus rimpang temulawak. Penelitian dimulai dengan melakukan pembuatan jus buah mengkudu dan jus rimpang temulawak. Jus buah mengkudu dan jus rimpang temulawak dilarutkan menjadi beberapa konsentrasi lalu diuji aktivitas antioksidannya menggunakan metode diphenilpikrilhidrazil (DPPH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jus buah mengkudu dan jus rimpang temulawak mempunyai aktivitas antioksidan. Nilai IC50 jus buah mengkudu sebesar 1822,9 µg/mL lebih kuat dari nilai IC50 jus rimpang temulawak yang besarnya adalah 4797,2 µg/mL.
