ABSTRACT
Rhodamine B is a crystalline powder green or reddish purple,odorless, and dissolve easily in bright red solution. Rhodamine B is a textile dyes. The objectives of this study were to identify and determine the levels of Rhodamine B in Manado Snacks.Sampling sites were 3 Stores in Manado City namely A, B, and C. Rhodamine B level we determined using UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The result of research on six samples namely A1 0.036µg/ml, A2 0.040µg/ml, B1 0.046 µg/ml, B2 0.034 µg/ml, C1 0.041 µg/ml, C2 0.025 µg/ml.

ABSTRAK
Rhodamin B adalah bubuk kristal hijau atau ungu kemerahan, tidak berbau, dan mudah larut dalam larutan merah terang. Rhodamine B adalah pewarna tekstil. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menentukan kadar Rhodamin B pada bumbu jajanan tahu di Kota Manado. Tempat pengambilan sampel adalah 3 swalayan di Kota Manado yaitu Swalayan A, B, dan C. Tingkat Rhodamin B ditentukan dengan menggunakan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Hasil penelitian terhadap enam sampel yaitu A1 0.036µg/ml, A2 0.040µg/ml, B1 0.046 µg/ml, B2 0.034 µg/ml, C1 0.041 µg/ml, C2 0.025 µg/ml.
