ABSTRACT
A research aimed to determine total phenolic, flavonoid, and tannin content and toxicity of ethyl acetate, n-hexane, and water fractions of liwas leaves had been done. Toxicity test were accomplished using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test on 48 hours old shrimp A. salina Leach. The number of dead shrimp was used to determine the percentage of shrimp mortality and the value of LC50 was calculated using Probit Analysis. The results showed that LC50 value of water, ethyl acetate, and n-hexane fractions were 2.219, 3.393, and 207.625 mg/L respectively. The total phenolic and flavonoid content in n-hexane, ethyl acetate, and water were 29.713, 41.142, 78.286 mg/g and 7.129, 19.401, 41.004 mg/g respectively.
