Abstract

UJI AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN DAN TOTAL FENOLIK DARI HASIL PARTISI PETROLEUM ETER, ETIL ASETAT DAN AIR DAUN TIGA (Allophylus cobbe L.)

ABSTRACT
A research aimed to determine total phenolic and antioxidant activity of methanol extract and fractions obtained from partition of tiga leaves (Allophylus cobbe L.) using petroleum ether, ethyl acetate and water had been done. The results showed that total phenolic content in methanol extract was 50,905 mg/g and in petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, and water fraction were 47,572; 121,064; and 62,968 mg/g respectively. Antioxidant activity which expressed ini IC50 value of methanol extract was 683.318 ï­g/mL and of petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, and water fraction were 593,235; 462,872; and 508,297 ï­g/mL respectively.

ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk menentukan kandungan total fenolik dan aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak metanol, hasil partisi petroleum eter, etil asetat dan air daun tiga (Allophylus cobbe L.). Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak metanol memiliki kandungan total fenolik dengan nilai sebesar 50,905 mg/g dan hasil partisi petroleum eter, etil asetat dan air memiliki kandungan total fenolik, dengan nilai berturut-turut 47,572; 121,064; dan 62,968 mg/g. Aktivitas antioksidan ekstrak metanol memiliki nilai IC50 sebesar 683,318 ï­g/mL dan hasil partisi petroleum eter, etil asetat dan air memiliki nilai IC50 berturut-turut 593,235; 462,872; dan 508,297 ï­g/mL.
