Abstract

ABSTRACT

 

The increase of hypertension cases causes an increase in antihypertensive drug use, and it also increases the irrationality potential of antihypertensive drug use. This study aims to evaluate the appropriateness of antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at the Kolongan Health Center based on four indicators, namely the right indication, the right patient, the right drug, and the right dose. This study is an observational study with retrospective data collection on the patient's medical record using the purposive sampling technique. This study was conducted on 133 medical records with a diagnosis of hypertension with or without comorbidities who received antihypertensive drugs for November 2020 - February 2021. The result showed that the evaluation of the accuracy of antihypertensive drugs obtained, there is the right indication by 100%, the right patient by 100%, the right drug by 87.22%, and the right dose by 85.71%.

ABSTRAK

 

Peningkatan kasus hipertensi menyebabkan peningkatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi sekaligus dapat meningkatkan potensi terjadinya ketidakrasionalan dalam penggunaan obat antihipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Kolongan berdasarkan empat indikator yaitu tepat indikasi, tepat pasien, tepat obat dan tepat dosis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional dengan pengambilan data secara retrospektif pada rekam medis pasien menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap 133 catatan medik dengan diagnosa hipertensi dengan atau tanpa penyerta yang memperoleh obat antihipertensi periode November 2020 – Februari 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan evaluasi ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi yang diperoleh yaitu tepat indikasi sebesar 100%, tepat pasien sebesar 100%, tepat obat sebesar 87,22% dan tepat dosis sebesar 85,71%.
