PERILAKU PEMILIH PADA PEMILIHAN BUPATI DAN WAKIL BUPATI 2018 KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN TALAUD DI KECAMATAN KHUSUS MIANGAS

Abstract

Salah satu kunci dalam pelaksanaan pemilihan umum adalah perilaku pemilih. Perilaku pemilih sebagai keikutsertaan masyarakat dalam sebuah pemilihan umum, mulai dari menentukan apakah akan ikut memilih atau tidak memilih sampai pada proses menentukan pilihan pada pemilihan bupati dan Wakil bupati tersebut. Penelitian ini mencoba memotret perilaku pemilih pada pemilihan bupati dan Wakil bupati Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud pada tahun 2018. Metode yang di gunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara yang di lakukan di lokasi penelitian dan pengkajian dokumen pendukung. Perilaku pemilih di Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud khususnya di Kecamatan Khusus Miangas lebih dominan di pengaruhi oleh pendekatan psikologis yaitu mempertimbangkan pilihan pada figure dari pasangan calon dan faktor mengidentifikasi partai. Pemilih juga di pengaruhi oleh pendekatan Sosiologis yaitu mempertimbangkan pilihan pada faktor kekeluargaan dan adanya pendekatan pilihan Rasional yaitu melihat visi dan misi serta kinerja dari pasangan calon yang membuat pemilih mempertimbangkan pilihannya dalam pemilihan kepala daerah Kabupaten Kepulauan Talaud tahun 2018 di Kecamatan Khusus Miangas.

ABSTRACT

One of the keys in conducting elections is voter behavior. Behavior of voters as public participation in a general election, ranging from determining whether to vote or not vote until the process of determining the choice in the election of the regent and deputy regent. This study tries to portray the behavior of voters in the election of  the regent  and vice regent of Talaud Islands Regency in 2018. The method used is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques through interviews conducted at the research location and review of supporting documents. Voter behavior in the Talaud Islands District, especially in the Khusus District of Miangas, is more dominantly influenced by a psychological approach, namely considering the choice of figure of the candidate pair and identifying factors of the party. Voters are also influenced by the Sociological approach which is to consider choices on family factors and the rational choice approach which is to see the vision and mission as well as the performance of the candidate pairs that make voters consider their choices in the regional head election of the Talaud Islands Regency in 2018 in Miangas Khusus District
