Strategi Politik Hillary Brigitta Lasut Dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Sebagai Anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia

Artikel ini mengkaji problematika terkait dengan kinerja anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Republik Indonesia (DPR RI). Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi yang dilakukan oleh Hillary Brigitta Lasut dalam meningkatkan kinerjanya sebagai anggota wakil rakyat yang duduk di DPR RI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan  bahwa kinerja dari para anggota DPR RI hingga kini masih mendapat penilaian rendah dari masyarakat. Hal itu disebabkan oleh berbagai problematika yang dihadapi oleh para wakil rakyat ketika menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya. Permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh para wakil rakyat ini disebabkan oleh faktor internal dan ada juga yang berasal dari faktor eksternal. Dari sisi internal, moralitas dan kemampuan yang dimiliki para wakil rakyat menjadi penyebab utama dari lemahnya kinerja para wakil rakyat yang duduk di DPR RI. Sedangkan dari sisi eksternal peran partai politik merupakan faktor dominan bagi penyebab lemahnya kinerja para wakil rakyat yang duduk di DPR RI. Hal ini disebabkan karena para wakil rakyat sering mengalami dilema dalam menjalankan loyalitasnya.  Selain itu juga banyak para wakil rakyat yang duduk di DPR RI sering menghadapi dilematis dalam mengambil keputusan disebabkan banyaknya kepentingan yang bermain di DPR RI.

ABSTRACT

This article examines the problems related to the performance of members of the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPR RI). The focus of this research is how the strategy implemented by Hillary Brigitta Lasut in improving her performance as a member of the people's representatives sitting in the DPR RI. This study uses a qualitative method. The results of this study illustrate that the performance of the members of the DPR RI has so far received low evaluation from the public. This is caused by various problems faced by the people's representatives when carrying out their duties and functions. The problems faced by the people's representatives are caused by internal factors and some are from external factors. From an internal perspective, the morality and capabilities of the people's representatives are the main cause of the weak performance of the people's representatives sitting in the DPR RI. Meanwhile, from an external perspective, the role of political parties is the dominant factor causing the weak performance of the people's representatives sitting in the DPR RI. This is because the people's representatives often experience a dilemma in carrying out their loyalties. Apart from that, many people's representatives who sit in the DPR RI often face a dilemma in making decisions due to the many interests that play in the DPR RI.
