Repository Policy

Authors publishing in Jurnal Ilmiah Sains are permitted to deposit and share their work in repositories and other online platforms.

Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. All articles published in this journal are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0).

Authors may deposit the following versions of their manuscript: preprint (the version prior to peer review), accepted manuscript (the version after peer review and acceptance, but before typesetting and layout), and published version (the final version of record published by the journal).

These versions may be deposited in institutional repositories, subject repositories, preprint servers, personal websites, and academic networking platforms.

Deposit is permitted before submission, during the editorial and peer review process, and after publication. Jurnal Ilmiah Sains does not impose any embargo period on repository deposit.

When depositing any version of the manuscript, authors should acknowledge its publication in Jurnal Ilmiah Sains, provide full bibliographic details where available, include the DOI and/or URL of the published article, and provide a link to the CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Posting a manuscript as a preprint in a repository or preprint server does not constitute prior publication and does not preclude its submission to this journal.
