FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KEJADIAN DIABETES MELLITUS TIPE 2 DI RUMAH SAKIT TK. III. R. W. MONGISIDI MANADO TAHUN 2017

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus sudah menjadi masalah kesehatan secara global pada masyarakat, karena prevalensi dari diabetes mellitus terus mengalami peningkatan, baik pada negara maju maupun pada negara yang sedang berkembang. Diabetes mellitus merupakan sekelompok penyakit metabolik yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya kadar gula darah/hiperglikemia akibat jumlah dan atau fungsi insulin terganggu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Rumah Sakit TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Manado. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study dan dilaksanakan di Poliklinik Interna Rumah Sakit TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Manado pada bulan Maret - Juni 2017. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu seluruh pasien rawat jalan yang berkunjung di Poliklinik Interna Rumah Sakit TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Manado. Jumlah sampel yang digunakan yaitu 86 responden. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Dari hasil penelitian terdapat 35 responden yang memiliki riwayat keluarga menderita diabetes mellitus dan 11 responden yang tidak menderita diabetes mellitus, sedangkan yang tidak memiliki riwayat keluarga menderita diabetes mellitus terdapat 14 responden menderita diabetes mellitus dan 26 responden yang tidak menderita diabetes mellitus. Nilai Pvalue = 0,000 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara riwayat keluarga menderita diabetes mellitus dengan kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2 di Rumah Sakit TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Manado. Nilai PR riwayat keluarga menderita diabetes mellitus yang didapat adalah PR= 5,90 dimana nilai PR > 1 yang berarti bahwa riwayat keluarga menderita diabetes merupakan faktor risiko kejadian diabetes mellitus tipe 2.

ABSTRACT
Diabetes mellitus has become a global health problem in the society, because the prevalence of diabetes mellitus continues to increase, both in developed countries and developing countries. Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases characterized by elevated blood sugar levels or hyperglycemia due to the interrupted amount and/or function of insulin. The purpose of this research was to determine the factors associated with the occurrence of diabetes mellitus type 2 in the TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Hospital, Manado. This research was an analytic survey research with cross sectional study approach and this research was conducted in Internal Polyclinic of TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Hospital, Manado in March - June 2017. The population in this research was the entire outpatients who visited the Internal Polyclinic of TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Hospital, Manado. The number of samples used was 86 respondents. Data were collected by questionnaire. From the results of the research, there were 35 respondents who had a family history of diabetes mellitus and 11 respondents who did not suffer from diabetes mellitus, while those with no family history of diabetes mellitus were 14 respondents who suffered from diabetes mellitus and 26 respondents who did not suffer from diabetes mellitus. Pvalue = 0,000, which means that there was a relationship between family history of diabetes mellitus with the occurrence of diabetes mellitus type 2 in the TK. III. R. W. Mongisidi Hospital, Manado. Value PR The family history of diabetes mellitus was PR=5,90 where the value of PR > 1 it is mean that family history of diabetes is a contributing factor to the risk of the occurrence of diabetes mellitus type 2.
